About me

Discovering and capturing the world with a paintbrush, pencil, and colors is something that I love. In everyday life and when traveling it relaxes me and gives me energy. I like to be around people who are close to me but I am also looking forward to new exciting and inspiring encounters.
That’s how I found my way to person-oriented painting. During my guest stay in the Children’s Home in Guatemala I met an art therapist who inspired me with her passion. Furthermore I was allowed to organize a drawing workshop for boys and I noticed that being accompanied in the creative process had a calming effect on them. It was great to realize how much I can pass on thanks to my sensitivity, passion for art and love for the human being itself. From that moment on, it become clear to me that this is my path and my wonderful journey with art therapy began.

Like my children, I am an observer. I look at the world before I get involved, before I join in, before I dare.
These days I do a lot of observing on this great journey....

What do I see?

- My children, beautiful, happy, open, communicating with others in a language without borders, a language of joy and discovery, a lot of love.

- Our relationship

- Myself in moments of joy and madness

- Myself in moments of weakness, headaches come and go

- Me learning to ask for help from people I barely know, developing new strategies to take care of myself in the conditions of travel.

- Myself, getting up consistently in the morning for yoga and meditation, taking care of my body and soul.

- Nature, from which I draw enormous energy, so important to me!

- Learning to stand up for my limits, again and again.

- Myself saying yes again when I want to say no.

- Myself in joy and satisfaction that we have made a beautiful journey and given ourselves this gift.

I accept. I embrace. I rejoice.
I have taken a three-month break from my work in the studio.
During this time I am gathering a lot of experiences that strengthened me, shown me areas that I want to address and what means to support you all even better in art therapy.
I thank life for this journey.
Thank you to all the people and places that have inspired me over the past 90 days. Thank you to my beautiful family for sharing this experience with me and thank you to YOU for waiting for me and agreeing to take a break in the therapeutic process.
I look forward to returning to the studio empowered and full of joy
